MINI CAN DISPLAY

Compact OLED Display for Real-Time Vehicle Data

The Mini CAN Display is a compact 0.91″ OLED display designed to provide essential vehicle parameters in a clear and easy-to-read format. Its small housing allows discreet installation inside the vehicle, for example on the air vent grille.

The display communicates with the vehicle via the CAN bus and can show different parameters depending on the vehicle model, ECU configuration and available data.

Key Features

  • 0.91″ OLED display with sharp white characters
  • Compact and discreet housing designed for easy installation
  • CAN bus communication for reading vehicle data
  • Excellent readability during the day and at night
  • Quick-connect plug for easy installation and removal
  • Designed for OEM-style integration into the vehicle interior
  • Different display screens can show multiple parameters
  • Available parameters depend on the vehicle and ECU

Available Parameters

Depending on the vehicle and configuration, the display can show:

  • RPM
  • Coolant Temperature
  • Battery Voltage
  • Oil Temperature
  • EGS Oil Temperature
  • Intake Temperature
  • Fuel Temperature
  • Rail Pressure
  • Gear
  • Torque
  • Power
  • Oil Pressure
  • EGT
  • Boost Pressure
  • and other available CAN parameters

Compact Design. Maximum Information.

Despite its small size, the Mini CAN Display gives you access to important engine and vehicle data without the need for a large aftermarket gauge or additional dashboard screen.

Small screen. Big possibilities.

It is designed for enthusiasts who want to monitor important vehicle parameters while keeping the interior clean, discreet and close to the original factory design.

The displayed parameters can be switched using the OBD stalk or by using a button (marked “SW” on the controller housing).

The button is not included in the kit. It works by simply shorting the two pins together.

Oil temperature

The oil-temperature reading depends on the vehicle model and engine version.
BMW E60
• Diesel engines 197 / 235 / 286 HP – oil temperature is available via CAN.
• Other engines – an external oil-temperature sensor is required.
• Petrol engines – oil temperature is available via CAN.
BMW E90
• M47 / M57 engines – the oil-temperature value available via CAN is a calculated value,
not a direct measurement. It often corresponds to the coolant temperature.
• N57 and petrol engines – the actual oil temperature is available via CAN.
BMW E70
• Oil temperature is available via CAN.
Important – external sensor has priority
If the ECU sends oil temperature via CAN but an external oil-temperature sensor is connected
to the device, the displayed value will be taken from the external sensor.
The external sensor therefore replaces the CAN value.

Oil pressure

The factory oil-pressure switch operates as an “on/off” device and does not provide an analog
measurement of actual pressure. For correct pressure readings, use an external oil-pressure sensor
connected to the OIL P input.
Sensor specification: 5 V DC / 0.5·4.5 V / 150 PSI / 06E906051K

Based on the information above, decide whether your vehicle requires the installation of an oil temperature sensor.Of course, even if your vehicle does not provide this parameter via CAN, you do not have to install the sensor. The same applies to the oil pressure sensor. The display will function normally without these sensors. However, the oil temperature and/or oil pressure readings will show inaccurate or unusable values if the corresponding sensor is not installed.
